Farewell Elder Blakley

It'll be fun to see how the nieces and nephew change over the next two years...and if there will be any additions;)

We had to go through the emotional turmoil of saying goodbye to this guy THREE times. First, they (him and Russell Heaton, who oddly enough got sent to the SAME mission at the SAME time, from the SAME ward) started to go through security when their flight got delayed due to weather. So after all the tears and hugs, he came back out to hang with us for a little longer. The second time, he got paged back to the departure gate only to find out that his flight was delayed even LONGER. After three long hours in the waiting area, Elders Blakley and Heaton FINALLY left for real. By this time my kids were going nuts, so I shed a few tears and kicked his rear end to security! Sure love that kid. I remember changing his diapers.

That many good-bys - too hard. He will be a great missionary, we are proud of him.
