Calyn's First...

I've noticed a theme among my latest posts. The word "first" seems to always be included in some form or fashion. Therefore, this post will be a part of the never ending series entitled, "Calyn's First..." So, sit back and enjoy all these little "firsts."

...Trip to Leesville

Our little Cali-Bear made her first trip (of many to come) to Leesville. She was highly impressed. This was her first meeting with her "Uncle Grandpa." My Dad, due to work schedules, etc. had not met his first granddaughter until that trip. Needless to say, she won his heart immediately.

P.S. My dad thinks he's too young to be a "Grandpa" so "Uncle" got thrown in there to make him feel better

My mom and sister bought this cake for us. The picture is made of icing, and no one could bear the thought of eating her face...so, it went uneaten and ended up being thrown away!

...Memorial Day

Cal's first Memorial Day was jammed pack with lots of fun...sleeping. But, she was in the spirit of swimming and a BBQ in her cute little swimsuit and hat Grandma Sherry bought for her.

...Playdate

This picture was taken before Cal and I left for our first "playdate." We went to the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum. Calyn just hung out on a blanket with her friend, Ian.
