The story of the "mystery tomato plants":
I was pulling weeds in our ROCK beds around our house, and as I was working I stopped and said, "THAT is not a weed!" I found two little tomato plants growing among the weeds. So, I carefully removed them and transplanted them in to my box, hoping for the best. Eight weeks later and they are doing awesome! I try not to get too attached to things in the garden because at any moment pests or disease (or kids!) can attack them. But, for now, I'll just be happy that they made it this far.
