Yes, we live in New Orleans. No, it doesn't snow here normally. In fact, in my 15 years in Louisiana, this is the most snow I've ever seen here. It was fun for the couple of hours it lasted, but I'm glad it won't be sticking around. It should be sunny and 70 by Sunday. To quote Aaron, "I could never handle living up North."

We lack in sufficient clothing for the snow...Calyn had no gloves and had to borrow one of Aaron's hats. We eventually put a pair of socks over her hands.

First snow experience
The Snowman: It has become somewhat of an attraction...throughout the day several cars have stopped and took pictures, including a group of Chinese tourists. How do you like the banana nose and the tangerine eyes? Appropriate for a mostly tropical climate, don't you think?

it is just crazy that there is that much snow in NEW ORLEANS and none further north in vidalia where my parents are...hope you had fun.
We got out of bed and checked, no snow. Turned on the weather channel, and guess where the snow was, way down south, unbelievable!
Carl went to work, when he got there, he was the only one there, he turned around and came home! Unbelievable, also!
Aaahhhhh! Close all the roads, close all the schools, close everything!!! State of Emergency!!!
